At What Age Does Teething Stop?

This is a question that we are often asked in our office.  Most believe that you are only teething when you are an infant.  However, the answer is a bit more involved than that. Most of us start teething as an infant, while some babies are born with teeth. Ages vary for the start of teething but continue far longer than most people realize. Most people have third molars, also known as wisdom teeth. When wisdom teeth come in, technically, we are finally done teething.
